Ejigbo Council Announces Work Progress on Ajegunle Road

The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello, has announced that the construction of Sule Ajegunle Road, featuring dual drainage systems on both sides is ongoing.

This vital infrastructure project aligns with the directive from Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu, as part of his larger scheme to construct 114 roads across various Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Lagos State. The project underscores the commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents and improving transportation within the state.

Bello in his statement said, “The construction of Sule Ajegunle is a significant milestone in our efforts to develop the infrastructure of Ejigbo LCDA. This project will not only improve road conditions but also address drainage issues, providing a lasting solution to flooding in the area, the dual drainage systems are specifically designed to manage stormwater efficiently, reducing the risk of flooding and enhancing the road’s durability.”

The Council boss while elucidating further stressed how this initiative demonstrates the dedication of Ejigbo LCDA to a sustainable development and also aligns with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision for a more connected and resilient Lagos State.
