Ejigbo Chairmanship: Idera Formally Declares Interest
A Lagos All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart and the CEO of Sul Idera Hotel and Suite Limited, Comrade (Hon.) Sulaimon Gani Akintunde (Idera) has declared his interest to run for the post of Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area.
The declaration which took place last Thursday and was made at the Apex leader resident Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan.
Addressing party faithful who were at that unique gathering, Idera said “After several months of consultations with stakeholders across the L.C.D.A., as a technocrat, I am officially throwing in my hat into the ring to contest and serve as Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Chairman in 2025.
“Like our great leader, the President of the Federal Republic, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who we follow and continue to learn a lot from, my desire is to serve the people of Ejigbo and Lagos, delivering to them the dividends of democracy.
“If I am elected, I will continue from where our amiable and visionary leader, Hon. Monsuru Oloyede (Obe) stopped, proffering solutions and delivering projects that will benefit the good people of our L.C.D.A and propel it into one of the best Councils in Nigeria.”
Idera added that “I will like to use this opportunity to thank you and further crave your usual support so as to be able to make this collective dream of ours a reality.”
His official declaration kickstarts the astute businessman’s participation in the race for the APC ticket ahead of the forthcoming Chairmanship and Councillorship elections.”
