The All Progressives Congress (APC), Ejigbo LCDA has concluded all preparation to go for the local council elections tomorrow, Saturday, July 24, 2021.

The party revealed its readiness to go to the poll during the grand finale of its campaign which started on June 23.

Speaking at the mega rally held at Ejigbo Mini Stadium on Thursday, the Director General of Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (Obe) campaign organization, Hon. Kola Ojo, urged all party members to strictly abide by the rules of Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) to avoid disqualification at the polling unit.

He urged members to avoid possession of any party designed materials at the polling units and also do away with conversations that can cause dispute with opposition parties.

“I urge all our party loyalists to ensure reaching their respective polling units early in mass and to make sure they vote at the appropriate box that showcases a pictorial representation of broom which is symbolic for our party in order for our struggle to become productive at the long run.

“Voters should note that they are to use their right index finger to cast their votes to prevent void votes for the party. I’m also using this medium to urge us all to ensure that vote count reaches a minimum of 30,000 as this will help us to continue to withhold our strong feet in Ejigbo,” he said.

Complementing what Ojo had said was the former Lagos state commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, who said the development of the party lies within the capability and commitment of the members.

He encouraged members to ensure voting for the councillorship candidates of the party, explaining that the cordial relationship that was created between the chairman and the councillors would help promote the success of the next administration just like in the previous term.
