Eid-el-Kabir: Agboyi-Ketu Councillor, Elewedu, Supports Over 300 Residents
In a heartwarming display of compassion, the grassroots lawmaker representing Ward ‘D’ at the Agboyi-Ketu Legislative Council, Mr. Bashir Omogbolahan, widely known as ‘Elewedu,’ has distributed food packs to over three hundred residents of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area.
The joyful event took place at the All Progressives Congress Headquarters, Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Chapter, and the recipients included people from all walks of life, with a special focus on physically-challenged individuals and widows.
The program also included the distribution of food packs to members of the Christian Association in Nigeria, Agboyi-Ketu Chapter, in a bid to promote religious harmony.
Councillor Elewedu, who was recently awarded the Council Legislator of the Year 2023 in Lagos State, emphasized that the gesture was aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of the residents of Agboyi-Ketu.
He explained that this yearly exercise was part of his commitment to bringing support to his constituents and beyond, using every religious celebration during his tenure in office.

Others are Organization of Councillor Elewedu Football Kids Cup for Pupils of Public Primary Schools in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Distribution of Sanitation Materials to Public Primary Schools in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, Distribution of GCE and JAMB Forms to Indigent Constituents.
Presentation of Tool Kits to Young Artisans, Training of Constituents in Liquid Soap Production, Monthly Cash Support for Widows, Monthly Cash Support for Senior Citizens and Monthly Cash Support for Petty Traders.
Enthusing further on the numerous achievements, he stated that the programmes were achieved through his participation in several Ajo Thrift Contributions.
