Dream Star FC recently had a week long scouting programme to scout for the best legs and integrate them into the club.
The scouting programme which had players scouted within the age range of 10-19 was a success as so many bright superstars were picked by the management of Dream Star FC where they would continue their development in the game of football.
Speaking to ECHONEWS, CEO and chairman of Dream Star FC, Abolore Abdulrahman said the purpose of the scouting programme is to catch the players at a tender age and groom them into a superstar, where the players will achieve their dreams of becoming professional players.
“This programme is designed to scout for young talented footballers that in the coming years, they will make their country and family proud.
“The aim is to establish a standard football structure in Ejigbo LCDA and it environs and having watched some of this youngsters play for their various clubs, we deemed it fit to scout them from a tender age through scouting programme to select the best of them, who will now be integrated into the club of Dream Star FC programme and possibly through training and proper guidance, some of them will be available for the national teams in the nearest future.
“Actually, there will be weekly trainings for the players in the club and they will be trained regularly and camped. Contacts will be established with their parents and guardians, so that the players will be able to achieve their dreams of becoming future stars.”
