Drainage Construction Begins at Alade Street in Oshodi

The chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, recently inspected Alade Street in Igbehinadun ward where repairs on a collapsed drainage system have begun.

 

Echonews reports that the aim is to ensure free water flow and enhance the longevity of the road once the project is completed.

 

In addition, he visited Shogunle area and informed residents that contractors will begin work on identified streets like Olori Street, Aina Street, and Saka Street in the upcoming week.

He promised quality and timely completion of the job. He said, “I decided to pay an unscheduled visit to Alade Street this morning to ensure the contractor has actually commenced work. We have to firstly repair the collapsed drainage system to enable us have a smooth job and enhances the durability of our road.

 

On Shogunle axis of our local government, I assure our people that in the coming week, contractor will also move to site. We have ensured that the materials to be used are of top quality and it will be delivered to time.

 

I appreciate the support and understanding of our people and I implore them to keep faith with us as we will always put them first.”
