Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituecy 02, Honourable Ladi Ajomale, has enjoined residents in the area and Nigeria as a whole to honour the principles of democracy and live in love and harmony.
The legislator beseeched in commemoration of this year’s Democracy Day event – the 25th edition.
Ajomale emphasizing on the significance of the day’s event expressed heartfelt message noting that it is imperative to honour the cherished principles of democracy to move the nation positively.
Ajomale said, “I express greetings on the significance of this day in celebrating the essence of collective voice and the empowerment that democracy affords to every citizen.
“It is a time to reflect on the journey we have undertaken as a nation and to reaffirm our commitment to upholding democratic values.
“This Democracy Day, let us rejoice in the power of our collective voice and the strength of our democratic ideals. Together, we have the opportunity to shape the future of Oshodi-isolo constituency 02, Lagos State and Nigeria, to forge paths of progress, and to champion the rights and aspirations of every individual.”
He continued, “I urge the constituents to remain engaged and embrace dialogue and collaboration, and to actively participate in the democratic process as your voices matter.
“Through our collective efforts, with love and unity, and a steadfast commitment to the principle of democracy, we can build a brighter and more inclusive tomorrow for all.”
