Nigerian comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Aderombi Martin, popularly known as Deeone, has revealed plans to break the Guinness World Record for the longest stand up comedy performance.

The comedian also posted a flier styled like a traditional burial poster, a humorous touch that reflects his comic personality.

Deeone, who is known for his controversial social media presence and energetic stage performances, said the attempt demonstrates his passion for comedy and determination to showcase Nigerian talent on the global stage.

His announcement comes just days after fellow ex BBNaija star Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, unveiled her plans to attempt a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers in 24 hours.

Tacha’s three day beauty festival will take place from October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, further spotlighting Nigeria’s growing beauty industry.

With these consecutive record breaking attempts by former reality TV stars, October is shaping up to be a historic month for Nigerian entertainment.
