The chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, has presented N1, 616,442,411.13 year 2023 budget to the council legislators for approval, a fiscal proposal which is 6.5 percent higher than the 2022 approved budget.
According to the chairman, the budget is predicated on the reality of the Nigeria economy with an unwavering focus on upgrading of Igbogbo/Baiyeku primary schools, roads construction and maintenance, drainages, culverts, healthcare system, channelization of canals, and poverty alleviation programmes.
In attendance were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Nuraini Oke-dina Maja, Council Manager, Mr. Akeem Adesanya, Secretary to Local Council, Barr. Ade Ayeni, Supervisors, Council Engineer, Pastor Segun Orelesi, Council Treasure, Mrs. Badmus L.M, HOD Budget, Mr. Arosegbe Jamiu, Head of Information unit Mr. Temitope Kuku and other management staff.
Also in attendance were HRM. Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali ably represented by Chief Mrs Karimot Ojikuti, Asiwaju, Olorunfunmi Basorun, member of Lagos Governance Advisory Council, LGA Party Chairman, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, Hon. Gbenga Oshin, Hon. Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, Pastor Ola Ayetoba, Pastor Adelakun, CDC Chairman, Hon. Rotimi Olowonisaye, former vice Chairman, and Igbogbo/Baiyeku APC wards Chairmen.
