Dolores Aviero, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, has hinted Sporting Lisbon fans that she will persuade Ronaldo to return to the club he once played for this summer.
Ronaldo presently tops the goal scorers chart in Serie A this season and just scored his 100th goal for Juventus in their 3-1 win against Sassuolo.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s boyhood club, Sporting Lisbon, just lifted the Portuguese title for the first time since 2002 by ending Porto and Benfica 19 years reign as champions.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother Aviero who is a strong Sporting Lisbon fan told fans during the title celebration that she would try her best to bring Ronaldo back to Sporting Lisbon.
“I’ll talk to him [Cristiano] to bring him back,” she said from her balcony as she spoke to Sporting fans who had taken to the streets to celebrate.
“Next year he will play in Alvalade Sporting’s stadium,” she added.
