The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Mr. Jelili Sulaimon, has commended the Community Development Committee (CDC) for its successful monthly meeting, which emphasized the importance of collaboration between the local government, community members, and service providers.

Echonews reports that, the council chairman noted that the government has experienced strong cooperation from the community since the administration began and expressed confidence that this collaboration will continue.

During the meeting, attendees were advised to refrain from selling cooking gas on the street due to safety concerns, as well as discouraged from allowing iron pickers and shoe shiners to operate in the community, as these activities have been linked to theft.

CDC Chairman Venerable Adetunji Samuel Adewuyi informed community representatives that the previously announced Lagos palliatives program has already commenced in some LGA/LCDAs and will soon be available in Alimosho LGA.

Overall, the meeting focused on fostering collaboration between various stakeholders to ensure the community’s well-being, safety, and access to essential resources.
