A councillorship aspirant seeking to represent Ire-Akari/Ishaga Ward, Mrs. Kehinde Ajala, is promising to facilitate greater growth on human and infrastructural development of the community if elected..
Ajala, who claims to have the support of the residents said the way she is being accepted by residents is encouraging her to seek election to represent her ward.
She boasted that her experience in the council administration and politics would give her headway to facilitate desired development into her ward.
Her words: “As a noble indigene of Ishaga and having been brought up in the community, I have full knowledge of what the community needs in to all areas and that’s why I’m seeking the mandate of my people to serve them and bring about a great difference in councillorship and representation in the community.
“Though I’ve been nurturing this ambition since 2011, now I’m convinced about my readiness to serve my people because my work experience in the council has greatly afforded me the knowledge of the council’s administration.
“I believe I’ll be an exemplary councillor. Ishaga is experiencing notable development and I can’t but give kudos to our council chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye for being such a visionary leader.”
She, however, expressed her admiration for the incumbent councillor.
She said she has confidence in the party leadership, believing that justice would be done during the party’s primary to determine who becomes the party’s flag bearer in the 2021 local council poll.
