Joining other local governments in commemorating 2020 Tree Planting Day, Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has planted trees in Isolo High School, Isolo.
The exercise, which was without the usual ceremony due to the social gathering and distancing protocol necessitated by COVID-19, was carried carried out by the council Vice Chairman, Hon. Bayo Olasoju who planted the first tree.
He was followed by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon Kolawole Emmanuel while the councillors equally took turns to plant trees as other Executive members as well as members of the Community Development Committee (CDC) also participated in the tree planting.
Isolo High School has joined the list of the schools in the council area such as Ansar-Ud-Deen College, Gbeleyi Primary school among others that have benefitted from the yearly event.
