Council Chairman Presents New Appointees In Badagry

The Executive Chairman in Badagry West LCDA, Rauf Kayode, has appointed five principal aides as cabinet members in his administrative tenure.

Kayode, who is to begin a new tenure as the council leader, disclosed that the appointment became necessary to enable effective service to the residents in the form of involving capable hands for various tasks for the development in the community.

The council leader who also established the 6th Legislative Assembly appointed Gusanu Sovi as the Chief of Staff and Zinsu Emmanuel as Assistant Chief of Staff.

Other appointees include: Solomon Zosu who emerged Chief Press Secretary, Idris Obafemi as Media Officer and Waheed Sule who was designated as Chief Security Officer.

Kayode reiterated his administration’s commitment to transparency and grassroots development. He further revealed plans to inaugurate community needs assessment committees across the five wards in Badagry West LCDA.

“These early appointments are strategic steps toward hitting the ground running. We’re assembling a team that will deliver. As soon as the political appointment banner is lifted, we will complete the executive setup to ensure smooth governance,” he stated.
