Council Chairman Mourns Demise Of Oba Kosoko Of Ekunpa

Executive Chairman, Oto-Awori LCDA, Musibau Asafa, has mourned the passing of the traditional ruler of Ekunpa Kingdom, Oba Kazeem Abu Kosoko, who passed away on the 4th, August 2024.

Asafa said that the deceased, Elekunpa of Ekunpa, was a custodian of people’s culture and traditions.

He said that the monarch served the community and will be remembered for his wise counsels and vivid contributions to the development of the area.

The Chairman expressed condolences to the family, friends of the deceased. He said, “The late monarch lived a fulfilled life and left worthy legacy of selfless service through his invaluable contributions to the development of his community.

“I pray that the Almighty God give the town a successor that would accord the welfare of the people and development of the community top priority as did the late monarch.

“On behalf of the Executive, Legislative and Management of Oto-Awori LCDA, I commiserate with the family of the late monarch and the people of Ekunpa. Our prayer is that God will comfort the family and the community. This is a great loss not only to the immediate community but to the whole of the Council area. Oba Abu Kosoko no doubt, lived a fulfilled life. May God grant him eternal rest,” Asafa added.
