The chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon. Dr. Muibi Folawiyo, has lauded Fidelity Bank for facilitating a medical outreach to the residents of the community.
The council boss said though the Local Council Development Area authorities provided the venue, the outreach programme was solely executed by the bank.
He therefore encouraged members of the community to take advantage of the programme to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Besides the medical outreach, participants also received provisions, ready-made meals as well as corporate gift items from the bank to commemorate the Yuletide celebrations.
The staffs across Fidelity Bank’s business locations had identified projects that would impact their immediate communities and raised funds to execute them.
The bank’s management thereafter matched this contribution with an equal amount and disburses it for the selected project.
The council boss reiterated his commitment in ensuring that he delivers the dividend of democracy to the residents of the Lagos Island East LCDA.
Folawiyo noted that good health is the foundation of good living which begets a progressive community.
“As I continue to serve my people, I won’t relent until I have fully delivered dividends of democratic system to the people of Lagos Island East LCDA.
“In collaboration with Fidelity Bank, I facilitated medical outreach for my people as I understand that good health is the foundation of good living and good living beget a progressive community.”
