Due to cases of Conoravirus which have been recorded in the country especially Lagos State, the member of House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency II, Engr. Ganiyu Johnson, has suspended his monthly empowerment intervention programmes tagged: “Meet Your Member of Parliament” and “Food For All”.

The lawmaker, in a statement made available to ECHONEWS, said the suspension of the programmes is necessary to guard against spread of the deadly virus.

This, according to him, is in line with the directive of the Lagos State Government which has banned gathering of more than 50 people pending the time a lasting solution would be found to the virus.

He however appealed to the constituents to bare with him during this period.

He said: “Owing to Conoravirus issue, our monthly programs tagged: “Meet Your Member of Parliament” and “Food For All” have been suspended until further notice.
Thank you!”
