The Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) of Ejigbo LCDA, Dr Paul Fregene is thrilled to have won the Leadership Award at the recently concluded Constituency Awards.
Fregene dedicated the award to his leaders, the former commissioner for information and strategy in Lagos state, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan and chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Mr Monsurudeen Bello (OBE) for their tutelage in creating an enabling environment to horn his leadership skills which has been worthy of an award.
The Ejigbo LCDA scribe said the Ejigbo LCDA administration led by Bello have delivered quality service to the people which has been marked satisfactory by the residents.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship aspirant for Ejigbo LCDA in the 2025 Lagos Local Government elections believes the Constituency Forum Awards was an avenue to sell his candidacy to the voters.
“To God be the glory for the opportunity that some of our leaders, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan, Mr Monsurudeen Bello gave us created an environment for us to exhibit our leadership skills, qualities and some people found it worthy and we were identified for this award. I dedicate the award to them.
“In our tenure in office, we have delivered quality service to our people. I’ve worked with the dynamic chairman who has met the yearnings of the people and today everybody is craving for more. I’m happy that I’m part of the team and the Constituency Forum have created a platform for us to reach out and sell our candidacy because if we don’t have platform to reach out to people, we will not know what we are doing.
“So the constituency platform was for a way to reach out to the community and the electorates.”
If elected as chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Fregene promises to focus more on human capacity development, invest more on talented youths in sports, and music to showcase their talents to the World.
“We will consolidate and build human capacity development if elected as chairman of Ejigbo LCDA. We have youths who have God given talents in sports, music and other aspects that will be worked on to showcase to the World.”
