The community has been in total darkness since May last year when their transformer was faulty.

In a letter by the Community Development Association, the community commended Ariyoh for his effort to solve the electricity challenge in the community by replacing the faulty transformer with brand new 500KVA one.

Meanwhile, the CDA chairman, Alhaji Rasaq Mabinuori has assured the residents that the transformer would be installed, stating that he has contacted the Ikeja Electric business manager at Okota on the matter.

“The community’s expectation is very high having known that the bills have been met, everyday they look forward to seeing the installation of the new transformer in the community. The transformer is available now and within couple of days it would be installed according to the Ikeja Electric business manager because I have discussed with him.”
