The residents of Old Ewu-Ogunyinka Community Development Association (CDA) have commended the member of House of Representatives in Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon. Bashiru Dawodu for spearheading the de-silting of drainage in their community.
It would be recalled that Hon. Bashiru Dawodu as part of his commitment to ensure a clean and disease free environment for his people, had earlier cleared sewage in the said community, where he reassured them that their welfare is his priority.
In a letter written and jointly signed by the association treasurer and financial secretary, Alhaji Odenike and Alhaja Bankole respectively, which was made available to ECHONEWS, the community appreciated the lawmaker, describing the gesture as a service to humanity to make people’s lives better.
The letter read: “We the entire members of the above named CDA sincerely appreciate your selfless gesture.
“The community in general says a big thanks to you sir for helping us clean our drainage at Musa Oyinbo Street and also to evacuate the rubbish.
“We are indeed proud of you and wishing you more wisdom and good health to carry on the good work of your motherland.”
