Codemwing to train 1000 artisans, entrepreneurs in Oshodi

A vocational business organisation, Codemwing, has concluded plans to train about 1,000 people in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) in various vocations and art of doing other businesses.
According to the organisers, the training which would focus on catering, makeup, ankara accessories, acting, film making, solar installation, forex, crypto trading and many more is targeted at the youths most especially the secondary school leavers, the undergraduates and graduates as well.
Speaking with ECHONEWS on the forthcoming business empowerment training, the Coordinator of the organisation, Mr. Femi Muftau said it is a free training programme on all kinds of handiworks and trading.
He said: “All we need are people who want to use their God’s given hands to do something for the betterment of their lives.
“We launched the programme on August 21 this year in Oshodi metropolis and now we are starting the training in few weeks immediately we get 1,000 serious participants.”
However, Mufatu said though the training is free, each participant would pay N3,500 for accreditation and practical materials to be used during training.
