CMP inducts three new Rotary members in Okota

The Change Maker President, Rotarian Taiwo Akanimodo, has inducted three new Rotary members to the fellowship of Rotary Club of Okota.

The induction which took place at Milaco Hotel, Okota, is part of the fulfilment of Akanimodo’s pledge at the previous press conference to induct forty new Rotary members and more during his tenure.

While inducting the new members, Rotarian Moses Omike, Rotarian Rev. Emmanuel Jack and Rotarian Kazeem Fagbola, the PDG (Past District Governor) Rotarian Tayo Alabi and AG Assistant Governor, Rotarian Beovi Lawson orientated that the duty of a Rotarians is to see, serve and smile while charging all inductees to try to meet up with the expectations.

They said as members, they must be trusted and commended in the community.

Advising the inductees on the operation of the club, the Director of membership, Rotarian Ronke Jones-Adewale, urged them to thoroughly go through the induction package given to them to fully know what is expected of them as bona fide members of the club.

Commending the effort of the immediate past president, Rotarian Gabriel Ogugua, the Change Maker Secretary, Rotarian Victor Oderinde described him as a selfless leader, who always carried his members along and gave them the opportunity to showcase themselves.

Supporting what Oderinde said, the Change Maker vice president, Rotarian Titilope Okubadejo-Oladipo commented that Rotarian Ogugua during his tenure cherished his opportunity projects which the rotary year has offered him.

The Change Maker President, therefore, appreciated the commitment of all Rotarians towards the development of the club while appealing to them to support and contribute to the success of his administration.
