Chairmanship Aspirant in Ojokoro Set to Organize Drone Flying Training Program

A Chairmanship Aspirant in Ojokoro Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mr. Jamiu Kareem Alabi is set to organize a drone flying training program for interested individual in his constituency.

 

 

Echonews reports that the gesture is aimed at promoting technological illiteracy and innovation within the community and helping in bridging the gap in unemployment.

 

 

Alabi emphasized that the the training will be providing both practical skills and theoretical knowledge to participants as it’s designed to cover a comprehensive curriculum.

He also posited that the program can measure help participants in providing valuable skills that can open up new career and hobby opportunities for residents as it encourages technological literacy and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields.

 

Also, this training aims in inspiring participants to explore creative uses of drone technology, such as in filmmaking, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. Likewise, encouraging local entrepreneurs to consider drone technology in their business ventures.

 

Echonews gathered that registration for the training program begins 30th of July to 15th of August, 2024, afterwards, the tutorials will begin on the 14th of September, 2024 and shall be held every Saturday and Sunday.
