Celebrity Boxing Drama: Portable Turns Down N50m, Seeks N350m Total Prize

Controversial singer Portable has rejected a N50 million proposal to face popular streamer Cater Efe in a celebrity boxing match.
The offer was made by music executive Soso Soberekon during a recent livestream session with Cater Efe. During the broadcast, the streamer accepted the N50 million challenge without hesitation and urged Soberekon to proceed with fixing a date and venue for the fight.
However, in a video response shared on his social media platforms, Portable dismissed the offer as insufficient. The singer demanded that a luxury car valued at N300 million be added to the prize money before he would consider stepping into the ring.
According to Portable, the revised package — N50 million in cash plus a N300 million car, totalling N350 million — would make the bout worthwhile.
“Soso, N50 million is too little. Give me N50 million plus a car worth N300 million, totalling N350 million and I will beat Carter Efe mercilessly. I am the same guy who beat Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington,” he declared.
Portable also expressed confidence in defeating Cater Efe if his financial demands are met, citing his previous celebrity boxing victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington.
As of the time of filing this report, Soso Soberekon has not publicly responded to Portable’s counter-demand.
