CDC commends Ariyoh’s welfare package

The Community Development Committee (CDC), Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area (LGA) has commended the efforts of the local government chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh on the 73 mapped out welfare package pick point stands for the less privileged in the community.
The CDC chairman, Alhaji Adisa Olawoyin told ECHONEWS that the palliative measures have really supported the needy and made the residents to comply with the stay-at-home order to some extent.
He noted that each Community Development Association (CDA) was given 30 5kg bags of rice and 30 5kg bags of Garri to be shared among the needy in the community.

According to him, the distribution strategy was perfect, making the items get to the target beneficiaries in the local government area.
He said: “The chairman and secretary of each CDA were invited to the council and we were given the welfare package for our community members and was provided with vehicles to convey the food items to our different communities.”
“On behalf of the entire CDC, I appreciate the effort of the council chairman, he tried a lot. Though the food items couldn’t go round, they were given to the most needy people such as the less privileged, the widows and the elder ones just as the chairman had mapped out and directed.”
In the same vein, Isokan CDA chairman, Mr. Kazeem Fawole spoke to ECHONEWS that it is a time for the executives to sacrifice to the needy members in the community which was what they embarked on and the food items was well distributed in their community.
Among the 73 food items pick up stand includes Araromi/Onikewunla Shogunle, Eniola Adesanya Streets – Mafoluku Charles Amu Close, Alasia, Wahabi Larinde Streets, Ogunoloko, Akanji Odutolu Streets, Charity, Ogunlana Health Centre, Oshodi and others.
