CDC, CDAs Throw Weight Behind APC Chairmanship Team in Alimosho

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for the upcoming July 12, 2025, Lagos LGA/LCDA Election, Hon Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, along with his Vice Chairmanship candidate, Hon Adebisi Francis, and the seven Councillorship candidates, have received the full endorsement of the Alimosho Local Government communities.
This endorsement came through the Community Development Committee (CDC) during a meeting held today, June 25, 2025, at the local government secretariat.
The meeting was attended by CDC executives and representatives from over 60 Community Development Associations (CDAs) across the local government, bringing together around 300 participants. Discussions centered on a range of issues focused on community development.
During his address, Hon Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson assured the gathering of his unwavering support for both the CDA and CDC, highlighting his background as a former CDA Chairman and CDC Treasurer.
He emphasized that, being a grassroots-oriented individual, his administration would prioritize initiatives aimed at encouraging community service and development.
These include a CDA project fund, support for community based projects, and a personal business empowerment fund.
The atmosphere was filled with celebration and prayers as community members expressed their joy, offered blessings, and wished the APC candidates success in the upcoming election and throughout their tenure.
