Deserving residents of Harmony Estate Community Development Association (CDA) and distinguished personality in Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government were recognised with an award as the association organised its annual Thanksgiving service.
The awardees include Ifako-Ijaiye LG chairman, Prince Usman Hamzat; the CDC chairman, Pastor Samuel Opajobi; HOD Agric & Social Services Dept., Mrs. Oyafunke Omolabake; and Ifako-Ijaiye Forum chairman, Ven. Lawrence Ogunsipe.
The CDA chairman, Engr. Isa Egbeyemi described Hamzat as a performer and an excellent leader in transforming the Local Government.
He said Opajobi’s award was based on his good leadership style as the CDC chairman and dedication to the progress and development of Harmony Estate CDA.
He also stated that Mrs. Omolabake’s pragmatic actions in coordinating the affairs of the CDAs was awarded by the association, while Ogunsipe was recognised for his unwavering dedication towards the development of all the CDAs in Ifako-Ijaiye especially, Harmonyr Estate CDA.
He further commended the support of the Lagos State Neighborhoods Safety Corps (LNSC) led by Onipede in ensuring that peace and harmony reign within the Estate.
He also appreciated all the stakeholders, men, women, youths that were part of the Estate success.
Egbeyemi appealed to Prince Hamzat to remember Harmony Estate in his development plans and pay the Estate a visit.
