The Chairman, Tajudeen-Ifelodun Community Development Association (CDA), Mr. Sodiq Olusoga, has commended Mr. Adeniyi Olomowewe popularly known as Nilow for providing street lights in the community.

The CDA chairman explained that the street light was the top priority on the CDA’s agenda to serve as security to curb criminal activities in the night.

According to him, 25 pieces of solar bulbs were donated by Olomowewe to light up the streets in the community.

Olusoga described the charity as a palliative coming from a philanthropist in support of the local government’s efforts to make Ejigbo a crime free environment for the residents to live.

He said the street light is very important in keeping the community secured, making the job easy for the security men.

He appreciated the donor for the good gesture and for making himself relevant in the community as one of the residents, urging him to keep up the good work as he was expected to do more for the development of the community.

Olomowewe, based in the United States, said he donated the lights as a way of giving back to his community.

While in Nigeria, he partnered with the Ejigbo LCDA in 2009 to organise training in computer appreciation for school leavers.
