Kehinde Adeleye Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area, in collaboration with Lagos State Primary Health Care Board has sensitised and celebrated adolescents and youths in the LCDA. The event which was held at Youth Centre, Abesan Estate, through the (SRHR) Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights/Girl-H Outreach Agenda is for all people to achieve the highest possible level of sexual and reproductive health. Princess Olabisi Adebajo, Executive Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, spoke extensively and interacted with the participants, emphasizing the significance of saying no and abstinence from cultism, drug addiction, and early sexual activity. Adebajo urged students to take a position against cultism, emphasising the consequences of cult activities and drug misuse. She spoke more on early sexual activity, focusing on the risks and behaviours associated with poor adult health outcomes. “The event objectives is to explore links between early sexual activities, individual roles and contextual characteristics in Nigeria youth, and whether these differ for girls and boys.” Representatives from the event’s partners, including Mercy Corp, the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, the Society For Family Health, GOLF, TCI, and the Mosan-Okunola Health Department, all took turns educating everyone present.
