The lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo constituency 2 at the State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Idimogu, has, today, pulled out of Unity Forum and confirmed his support for Hon. Bayo Olasoju for the chairmanship position of Isolo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Idimogu, prior to this time, was one of the bigwigs supporting the aspiration of the former lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 2, Hon. Akeem Muniru having formed a coalition; Unity Forum with political groups associated with the incumbent lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo federal constituency 2 Hon. Ganiyu Johnson, the council chairman, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye; Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Hon. Emmanuel Olojede and other leaders in the community.
This development was disclosed to ECHONEWS by a close source to the lawmaker who explained that the development was parts of the agreements reached when the chairmanship hopeful visited the lawmaker today.
Speaking briefly with ECHONEWS on phone, Idimogu confirmed the development by saying: “Yes, by the grace of God, I’ve endorsed him and pulled out of Unity Forum.
