Benson Hails Tripple O All-Star FC For Semi-Finals Qualification

The Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area, Benson Sunday Ayodele, has congratulated Tripple O All-Star Football Club for their impressive victory over Igbogbo All-Star FC, a win that secured their qualification into the semi-finals of the Ikorodu Constituency II AMA Unity All-Star Championship.

The thrilling quarter-final clash, held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Imota Community Grammar School, drew football lovers and supporters from across the LCDA. The match opened in spectacular fashion, with Tripple O scoring an early goal just three minutes into play a moment that set the tone for an intense encounter.

After a tightly contested game, the teams headed into a penalty shootout that ended 5–4 in favor of Tripple O All-Star FC, sparking jubilant celebrations among fans and community members.

In his congratulatory message, Chairman Benson hailed the team’s determination and discipline, describing their performance as a reflection of Imota’s spirit of excellence and resilience.

“I celebrate the Tripple O All-Star Football Club for their victory in the quarter-final match and for qualifying for the semi-finals. I strongly believe that this team has what it takes to go all the way to the final and bring home the cup. I can’t wait to celebrate this achievement with you. Congratulations once again, champions,” he said.

The Chairman also commended Hon. (Dr.) Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) for his commitment to youth and community development through sports, applauding the initiative for uniting all communities within Ikorodu Constituency II under one positive cause.

The semi-final stage will feature Tripple O All-Star FC, Markbet All-Star, Ijede All-Star FC, and Oke-Eletu All-Star FC, as the competition heats up and the quest for the championship title continues.
