Beneficiaries of a free study trip abroad in Badagry have expressed appreciation to the Publisher of Badagry Parrot Newspaper, Mr. Zosu Solomon, over his intended sponsorship of a Dubai study trip.
The sponsorship is said to have been awarded to talented youths in the community including the former aspirant for the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende.
Ogunlende described Solomon as a focused leader with good intention, saying his sponsorship on a media course in Dubai would not only develop him but also uplift the academic excellence of the country as more experts would be produced through training with a special identity as a Nigerian.
He pledged to use the opportunity judiciously for a good result to be earned.
Another beneficiary, Mr. Basit Badaru, who is a PhD scholar, said having the opportunity of engaging in an international research work would help widen his horizon, broaden his understanding on different challenges facing humanity and help realize the need to solve the problems at all cost.
He said his sponsorship is also an eye opener to him as he realized that investing in people is key to leadership which is what his benefactor has exemplified.
