Member at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Ladi Ajomale, has congratulated the newly established executive members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, in Ejigbo LCDA, on their success in getting their new office designations.
Ajomale who represents Oshodi-Isolo Constituecy 02 expressed heartful congratulations to the new executive members led by Comrade Femi shomuyiwa stating that the NYCN is one of the ways to show that the state government is keen on youth growth and making their voices being heard.
The legislator said that the NYCN has its objectives. He urged the newly elected members to be proactive in their activities in the community. He further advised them to inculcate in themselves the importance of upholding the virtues of the body and contribute to the development in Ejigbo LCDA.
Ajomale noted that the government will continue to see the NYCN, not only in Ejigbo, but in Lagos as a whole as an important establishment as it is the mouthpiece of the youths after gaining recognition in the country in 1990, albeit, being established on 1964.
He promised outright collaboration with the council in ensuring that interests of the youths are held significantly to ensure more developments and growth not only to the youths but to all and sundry in the area.
