The leader of Mandate Group in Isolo, Hon. Monsuru Agbabiaka (Alagba) has urged all flag bearers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government elections to be magnanimous in victory and try to work with all members of the party for success during the general election.

He specifically told Hon. Kehinde Oloyede (Kendoo), Hon. Adebayo Olasoju and Hon. Monsuru Bello (Obe) who emerged chairmanship candidates of APC in Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs, respectively to unite with all other party members and work with them.

He explained that their victory in the primary election was in the best interest of the party and its teeming members, urging them not to see their contenders as enemies but party members whom they should extend hands of sportsmanship to.

While congratulating them, he appealed to them to sustain the party’s confidence in them.

Agbabiaka, who doubles as the Zone B Chairman of Tricycle Owners and Operators Association of Nigeria (TOOAN) of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Lagos State, appealed to all aggrieved members of the party to work with the flag bearers in the ultimate interest of the party.

He noted that the victory of the candidates in the primaries is for the party, the members and all residents in the local council, saying everybody is a winner.

“What is most important to all of us now is to make sure that the party wins the election. All hands must be on deck in the interest of the party,” he said.
