The leader of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Lanre Akinbowale, has charged other councillors to be up and doing in their various wards and continue to sensitise their people on the effects of Covid-19 pandemic.

He urged them not to relax in carrying out their duties to their wards.

Akinbowale made the appeal during their plenary session, emphasising the reason for them to continually sensitise the people in their various wards on the Covid-19 issue especially as the government commences gradual ease of the lockdown.

“We should not lose guard, we must always tell them to maintain social distancing, wash their hands from time to time under a running tap and keep all necessary precautionary measures,” he said.

The council leader also encouraged his colleagues to look inward in their communities and come up with the bills that would bring development to the community and help the council generate more revenue to support the government in attending to the needs in their various wards.
