Bayelsa Queens Chairman, Pastor Robin Apreala Describes Attending Women’s World Cup Final As Lifetime Experience

The chairman of Bayelsa Queens, Pastor Robin Apreala has described his presence at the FIFA Women’s World Cup final as a lifetime experience that will benefit the club and women’s football in the state.

Pastor Apreala graced the Women’s World Cup Final on the invite of FIFA to Australia where he attended a convention done by the World football governing body.

The football administrator said it was a great feeling attending the World Cup final which he was privileged to learn a lot that will be beneficial to the growth of women’s football in Bayelsa State.

Pastor Apreala was glad to win an excellence award at the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Bayelsa State branch 2023 award night and he describes it as God ordained time and moment.

He further appreciated the Bayelsa State Governor, His Excellency Douye Diri, deputy governor and the commissioner for youth and sports, Daniel Igali for their support for the growth of the Prosperity Girls.

“It was great. Being at the FIFA Women’s World Cup final was a lifetime experience for any football administrator. There is a lot learned most especially at the women’s convention which I would pass to my people,” he said.

“Time and chance happen to them all. It has been ordained. God has ordained it. Preparation belongs to man but answers come from God.”

Under Pastor Apreala chairmanship, Bayelsa Queens have become top side in Nigeria and recently won the NFF Federation Cup back to back in style.
