Bamigboye suspends levy collection at spare parts market

The chairman of Mushin LG, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye has suspended collection of levies at Aguiyi-Ironsi spare parts market.
This directive came as the council boss suspected that various unauthorised elements were collecting different types of levies from shop owners and business owners.
“Sequel to the meeting held between the Council Management of Mushin Local Government, Market Union leaders of Aguiyi-Ironsi spare parts market and Paramo Ventures, it was agreed that all forms of levies, tolls and rates be suspended in the market till further notice.
“The local council authority hereby directed that nobody – group of persons, agents or union should collect any charges, rates levies, or revenue from anybody in the market.
“Members of the public are hereby put on notice that no payment should be made to anyone in the name of Mushin Local Government.
“If anyone makes any attempt to forcefully act against this order, such person should be reported to the nearest police station or Mushin Local Government Secretariat, 82/84 Palm Avenue, Mushin, Lagos.”
