The Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye support the Supplementary Immunization activity campaign in Mushin Local Government, yesterday. This execise started on the 19th October,2024 to November 2nd ,2024 which is the phase 1 of the campaign.The vaccines are Yellow fever,Measles and Human Papilloma Virus vaccine.
The Chairman inspects the activities during the vaccination exercise at a temporary fixed post in the LGA Secretariat in the presence of the UNICEF representatives and the Lagos State Government team being led by Mrs. Adesola Honfor.
The Executive Chairman advised that Immunization prevents the spread of infectious diseases,he implored parents,Staff and children within the age bracket of 9 months and 44 years to get vaccinated against yellow fever infection and also measles (9months-5years) and human papilloma virus vaccination ( female 9years-14 years)within two weeks of the activities in Mushin Local Government to be prevented from diseases as “prevention is better than cure”.
The Chairman was joined in the campaign by his Vice, Hon. Aruwe, Tunbosun, Council Legislative Arm’s Leader, Hon. Olawale Ayegbayo, Council Manager, Mrs.Mojisola Gbajabiamila,Supervisory Councillor for Health, Hon. Femi Nuga,Councillors, Supervisory Councillors and SAs ,Dr.Odufuwa Kayode ,Medical Officer of Health and others.
