Bala Zakka has been appointed as the 36th Chairman of Ikeja District of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Zakka, who succeeded Mr. Olusesan Okunade as the chairman of ICAN Ikeja District, was inaugurated last week.
“This inauguration serves as a testament to our aspirations to foster a harmonious and unified existence as Nigerians.”
He appreciated members of ICAN Ikeja District for the confidence reposed in him to pilot the district’s affairs for the next year.
He pledged that his administration would promote values of integrity, discipline, networking, and independence.
“The recent turn of events provides a clear and compelling demonstration of our aspirations for the desired state of Nigeria,” he stated.
Zakka stated his unwavering dedication to facilitating adherence to integrity and discipline.
He stressed the significance of accountability, pledging to be available whenever his presence was required.
He emphasised that during his one-year tenure, he would exhibit his unwavering dedication to Nigeria, journalism, and effective dissemination of information.
