Baba Ijesha’s Interview Sparks Fresh Clash with Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has issued a strong warning to fellow actor Baba Ijesha, threatening legal action over comments he made about her children during a recent interview.
The controversy began after Baba Ijesha appeared on the “Talk to B” podcast hosted by actress Biola Adebayo, where he addressed past allegations against him. While defending himself, he claimed that Iyabo Ojo had once entrusted her children to his care.
His remarks quickly went viral and drew a sharp response from Iyabo Ojo, who had been one of the most outspoken voices during his 2021 trial.
Reacting via her Instagram story, the actress firmly denied the claim, describing it as false and misleading. She also warned Baba Ijesha to keep her children out of any public narrative involving him.
“The court found you guilty based on evidence, so please don’t drag my children into this, else I will direct my counsel to serve you appropriate papers,” she wrote.
Her response signals a potential legal showdown if the actor continues to reference her family in connection with the matter.
