In the spirit of Eid al-Adha, popularly known as Ileya, Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni (OLO 1), the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), demonstrated his unwavering commitment to community welfare and inclusive governance through generous festival outreach.

As part of his efforts to alleviate the economic strain faced by many families in celebrating Ileya, the council boss distributed festival packages containing rams, cows, and bags of rice to a diverse range of stakeholders within the LCDA.

These included civil servants, political leaders, traditional figures, party loyalists, and grassroots residents.

Beneficiaries warmly praised the initiative, describing it as both timely and deeply thoughtful. Several civil servants and community members expressed heartfelt gratitude to the chairman in confidential interviews, commending his magnanimity and sensitivity to the people’s needs.

They offered prayers for continued divine guidance and strength in his leadership journey.

“This is the first time we are seeing such broad-based distribution that truly touches the majority. Otunba Oluwaloni is indeed walking the talk of inclusive governance,” one stakeholder noted.

Political leaders within the council area also commended the chairman, popularly known as OLO 1, for what they called an unprecedented show of empathy and people-centered leadership. According to them, the chairman has continued to distinguish himself as a selfless leader who understands the pulse of his people.

In their words: “Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni has changed the narrative. He’s not just giving for the sake of politics, he’s doing it out of genuine concern for the people. This is what leadership should look like.”

They showered encomiums on him, describing him as a beacon of hope and a symbol of responsive governance. Many also offered prayers for his success and encouraged him to sustain the momentum, insisting that “with such a heart for service, the sky is only the starting point.”

Otunba Oluwaloni’s gesture during this festive period reinforces his administration’s commitment to putting people first and ensuring that no one is left behind, especially during moments that matter most to the community.

As the Ileya celebration continues, the atmosphere across Ayobo-Ipaja is not only festive but also filled with a renewed sense of belonging—thanks to the kind-hearted and forward-thinking leadership of Otunba Ladi Oluwaloni.
