Afrobeats sensation Asake has unveiled a fresh low-cut hairstyle, surprising fans in a new video clip shared via Snapchat on September 26, 2025.
The short video, filmed from the driver’s seat of a luxury car in Lagos, captured the artist vibing to his latest single “Getting Paid” alongside collaborators Wizkid and Jamaican star Skillibeng.
The track, produced by Sarz, was officially released on September 25 and has quickly soared to the top of Nigerian music charts.
Mixing Afrobeats with elements of trap and dancehall, the single carries a message centered on ambition, hustle, and staying true to one’s identity.
Asake’s style switch has drawn wide attention from his fanbase. Earlier this year, the singer experimented with bold looks, including face tattoos and even a striking blue pixie cut.
His decision to go for a simpler low-cut has been praised by many as a more refined and mature appearance.
