The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh has expressed his state of bereavement on the death of Hon. Francis Babatunde Oke who died on August 12, 2020.
The council boss, in a condolence message, said that the sudden death of the Council Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA came with a rude shock, leaving everyone in a state of bewilderment.
His words: “His death is yet another confirmation that COVID-19 is not only real but dreadful with many lives cut short at prime stage of life while in full service to humanity.
“Hon. Francis Babatunde Oke was a politician of note whose passion and commitment to serving the people better cannot be denied with the remarkable impact made in transforming the Onigbogbo LCDA.
“Death is inevitable and every soul must one day submit to the supreme call.”
He prayed that God grant the family, political associate, progressive family, and Onigbogbo LCDA the fortitude to bear the irreparable and colossal loss of Hon. Francis Babatunde Oke.
