Ariyoh engages security agents, NGOs to curtail COVID-19 community spread

As part of continuous effort to curtail community spread of COVID-19 in Oshodi-Isolo, the local government chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, has engaged the security agents and Non-governmental organisations to intensify their support.

While commending them for their selfless service and the roles played in fighting the coronavirus crisis, Ariyoh charged them not to relax, saying “all hands still need to be on deck to put the community spread of COVID-19 under proper check.”

During the stakeholders meeting at the council Secretariat, the council chairman appealed to the NGOs to keep spreading the information that the war on coronavirus is still ongoing while the community still needs to be on alert.

“In what looked like an interactive session, the Security agencies and the stakeholders later shared information and ideas on how best to police the community in this period that calls for necessary measures.

“At the end of the meeting, both the Security agencies and NGOs were given palliative materials to cushion the effect of the economic pains the virus has caused.

According to the statement by the media team, the meeting had in attendance, Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Abiola Oladipupo, Hon. Saheed Animashaun, Special Adviser on youth and Sport, representative of NSDC, Police, LSNC, etc while social groups such as APV-C, COVID-19 coalition and Oshodi Democratic clinic.
