Five Community Development Association projects have been inspected and certified okay by the officials of Oshodi-Isolo LGA to fulfil the pledge of the chairman, Hon.Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh to fund community
The projects were inspected and recommended for funding by the Works & Housing Department.
The Chairman had last month during a meeting with the CDC promised to grant each CDA N500,000 to execute projects in their various communities.

The first set of five CDAs includes OMAk CDA which comprises five streets, ( Owoseni, Mosaku, Alimioke, Kale Close); Isokan CDA, Ariyori /Ijaiye CDA; Maboju CDA and Ewutuntun CDA.
The Chairman, Maboju CDA, Alhaji Adisa Olawoyin told Echonews that their mini project covers repair of collapsed gutters and erection of three security gates.
The Chairman of Ariyori/Ijaiye CDA, Alhaji Rasaq Mabinuori, stated that the association has decided to channel the fund into rehabilitation of a dilapidated water project which has ceased functioning for a very long time in some parts of the community including Church, Owolabi and Fadeyi Streets.
For the OMAK CDA, the fund would be expended on solar street lights to illuminate the environs. The installation of the street lights, according to the CDA, would cover Owoseni, Mosaku, Kale close and Alimi-Oke streets
Isoka CDA’s proposed project is drilling of bore hole and water fountain at Akinlawanson Street, off Afariogun Street.
Meanwhile, stakeholders in the local government area urged the LG Chairman to make the presentation of the fund public for accountability, saying all the projects must be thoroughly supervised by the government and be certified by the public.
