Area D Commander, ACP Awoniyi Strengthens Relationship With Ejigbo LCDA

In an effort to strengthen the relationship between the Government and the Police, the newly posted Area D Commander, ACP Bamidele Awoniyi, in company of the Ejigbo Divisional Police Officer (DPO), CSP Mariam Shonubi and other officers, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Hon. Monsurudeen Oloyede (Obe).

While welcoming the police officers, Obe said he has had the opportunity of working with four Area Commanders and that the synergy was smooth and efficient.

He further stated that the primary objective was to work together to secure life and properties within the local council area

The council boss declared that he could not deny the fact that there are turbulent areas in Ejigbo. He, however, said the LCDA will work assiduously with the Police, to ensure that the security of life and properties is given optimal concern.

Obe promised to reach out massively to the police next year while doing the little he could before the end of this year as he reiterated that the LCDA will partner with the Police for adequate security of life and property for the people of Ejigbo LCDA.

Ihis response, the Area D Commander said he felt imperative to have a close assessment of the area and meet the people in authority in other to foster a formidable relationship to ensuring optimal security of life and prosperities.

He, therefore, promised that if he cannot improve the calmness in Ejigbo, he will maintain it.

The Vice Chairman, Mr. Ayodele Ayodeji, and the Council Manager, Mr. Olusegun Ajaguna, also welcomed the Area D Commander and prayed that he records success in his reign.

The meeting came up on Thursday 17th August, 2023, and was attended by the Executive Chairman, Alh. Monsurudeen Oloyede Bello (OBE), the Deputy Leader, Hon. Ismail Omoniyi, Executive Member, Management member, Area D Commander, ACP Bamidele Awoniyi, the D.P.O, CSP Mariam Shonubi and other Police Officers.
