As reported by ECHONEWS, the Babatunde  Ogala led screening committee had earlier disqualified Ajayi for his failure to present his voter’s card and birth certificate before he was solicited for to re-present the credentials the following week.

After the exercise, the result of the screening further indicated that Ajayi was not cleared by the committee based on his performance score below 60% and inability to present a birth certificate.

However, ECHONEWS gathered that he was eventually considered by the Appeal Committee to participate in the primary election.
