APM Kicks Off Community Football Competition in Igando-Ikotun

The Akinsanya Progressive Movement (APM) Football Competition officially commenced yesterday at Egan Grammar School, marking the beginning of an exciting community event aimed at uniting youth through their shared passion for football.
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests such as Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi, Chairman Igando-Ikotun LCDA Hon. Mojisola Badmus, ward chairmen, council executives, and political stakeholders.
Sponsored by Igando-Ikotun LCDA and initiated by APM, the competition demonstrates the significance of grassroots sports in fostering unity and development within the community.
As the thrilling opening match set the tone for the rest of the tournament, spectators and participants alike eagerly anticipate the positive impact this event will have on the area, promoting camaraderie and healthy competition among the youth.

The ceremony was followed by a thrilling opening match between Akinsanya Team and Abaranje Stars. Both teams showcased impressive skills and determination, setting a high standard for the rest of the tournament.
