APC LG Poll: Ayinde Accepts Vice Chairman Slot, Seeks Unity in Egbe idimu
In response to the recent Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election results, Comrade Omotayo Ayinde has publicly announced his acceptance of the party’s decision to appoint him as the running mate (Vice Chairman) for the party’s flag bearer, Hon. Idris Balogun, of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area.
Ayinde released a statement through his media office in Isheri-Olofin, Lagos, where he extended his warm congratulations to Hon. Balogun and emphasized his dedication to promoting a spirit of teamwork to ensure the progress and prosperity of Egbe-Idimu LCDA.
“Today, I want to express my sincere appreciation to all our esteemed party faithful, supporters, and dedicated loyalists as we embark on a new chapter in our political journey in Egbe-Idimu LCDA,” Ayinde stated.
He acknowledged the challenges faced in recent weeks, stating, “The political landscape has been challenged with disputes and internal affairs, but we remain steadfast in our goal of victory. Our success is rooted in unity, justice, peace, and progress. This historic era calls for better leadership and transformative values.”
Ayinde continued, “With the conclusion of the party primary elections, consensus winners have emerged, and others have shown loyalty to our party’s supremacy. It is time to unite with a stronger purpose and mobilize support for all party candidates leading up to the election on July 12, 2025.”
He expressed profound gratitude to party leaders at every levels, from national to local government for their tireless efforts and dedication in achieving this success.
“I also appreciate all other aspirants, particularly those who stepped down during the internal screening process. Your dedication to our party will not be forgotten,” he added.
He said, “As we stand on the brink of a new beginning and a fresh political landscape, I urge every member to come together as one cohesive family. Let us unite for victory and rally our support for all party candidates as we head toward July 12, 2025 Local Government election.”
