The ongoing electronic registration and revalidation exercise of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has received a boost in Alimosho Local Government as the Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, formally revalidated his membership, describing the exercise as central to the party’s organisation and future electoral strength.
Speaking after completing his registration, the council boss said the exercise is a strategic step by the APC leadership to establish an accurate and reliable database of party members, which he noted would strengthen internal administration, improve planning and enhance fair allocation of party offices.
According to him, proper registration of members is critical to building a disciplined and efficient party structure capable of responding to both governance and electoral demands.
Hon. Johnson urged all APC members across Alimosho to take advantage of the exercise by visiting designated registration centres, stressing that full participation is a collective responsibility. He also encouraged party faithful to use the opportunity to mobilise new members into the APC fold, noting that early grassroots engagement is key as preparations begin ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He reaffirmed his loyalty to the ideals and progressive philosophy of the APC, adding that a united, well-organised and data-driven party at the grassroots remains essential for sustaining good governance and electoral success.
The chairman further assured APC members in Alimosho of inclusive leadership, continuous engagement and strategic mobilisation, aimed at consolidating the party’s dominance within the local government and contributing meaningfully to the party’s success at the state and national levels.
